Hi, I'm Annielyn Olila, a 31-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English from Bestlink College of the Philippines (2019-2024). I hail from Novaliches, Quezon City. I'm passionate about education and eager to inspire and educate the next generation of learners.

We are five siblings, and I am the third. Our parents are no longer able to work due to their age and health issues, so we siblings support the household financially, covering rent, electricity, bills, and daily needs. Our eldest works in a call center, the second has their own family, I am a working student supporting my family and studies, my brother works in a corporate company, and our youngest is still in college.

I've been involved in my church from 2008 to 2024, leading in children's ministry, part of Worship team member and church leadership. 2019 I begun to study again because of my goals or dream in life, family situations, and encouragement or motivation from my friends. I worked as a student from first year to fourth year while supporting my family financially.

During and after the pandemic I encounter some challenges

1. Job Loss - My family lost our jobs. Only my sister was working, so we started selling food.

2. Loss of Sponsorship - I lost my church sponsorship and had to find other ways to manage financially.

3. Anxiety- I battled anxiety and spent a lot on treatment. With family support and therapy, I slowly got better."

I joined the KMI Program in October 2023 because I knew they were the right people to support students with the passion to pursue their studies and dreams. They helped me financially during my last semester when I had no job because I left my work for my internship.

When I first got accepted into this program, it felt like an answered prayer, and you were God's instrument. To my sponsor, I am incredibly grateful. Even though you don't know me personally, you helped and saved me during a time of anxiety about who would support me in my last semester. You have also inspired me to do my best in school and strive for excellence.

Everything is by God's grace. I couldn't do it without the Lord. It was His beautiful plan, an answered prayer, and a story of supplication. All praise, success, and glory go to Him.

It's never too late to dream. Trust in what God can do and surrender your dreams to Him, for He can achieve more than you imagine.
