Bless a Senior Citizen this Christmas!

We are writing to you requesting for your prayer and financial support for our Bless-a-Senior Citizen program. For PHP 500 for a senior citizen’s gift pack, you can help bring both the joy of a meaningful gift and the life-changing message of the Gospel to them this Christmas!

What is the Bless-a-Senior Citizen Program?

Our bless-a-senior citizen program is a gift-giving program aimed at involving local church members to reach out to marginalized senior citizens in their community by giving gifts to them, praying for them, and sharing the Gospel to them. In partnership with a local church, we prayerfully select 30 indigent senior citizens in the community and mobilize a number of church members to purchase, pack, and distribute gifts to senior citizens in their homes. During the visitation, the member also prays for and shares the Gospel to the senior, with the hope of establishing a relationship to start a Bible study in the near future.

What has happened so far?

Since the program’s inception in 2021, 330 senior citizens in various communities in Tarlac, Pampanga (Mexico, San Simon, Bacolor, and Angeles), Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Subic, Bohol, and Bicol have been blessed with the visitations and have heard the Gospel. Since then, 42 Bible Studies have been started, where the seniors have been rooted in the Gospel, and some of their family members also benefitted in hearing the Gospel through the Bible Studies.

What we hope to do this year?

This year, we hope to reach 90 senior citizens during this Christmas season. We budgeted PHP500 for each senior citizen’s gift pack. As such we are raising PHP45,000 pesos. During this Christmas, we understand that there are many things to budget for. Why should we ask you then, to add the seniors to your expenses?
