Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church’s Mission Trip to Philippines

Last November 1-4, 2018, 5 members of Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church, Malaysia visited our ministries in the Philippines. Headed by Pastor Saw Ai Hua, the team went around some of our feeding areas to teach the kids about the gospel and gave them hygiene kits. They did a skit regarding the gospel and many more activities for the kids.

 

Sharing the Gospel at the Cemetery during All-Saints Day

The team headed to a cemetery in Sasmuan, Pampanga and gave out gospel tracts. They also conversed with the locals, seeking to understand the cultural practice of Filipinos during All-Saints Day.

 

Gospel-sharing at the San Fernando Public Market

The team taught the gospel to 50 kids at the San Fernando Market. They did a skit showing how Jesus is our best friend. They also taught the kids how to dance and sing about God’s goodness. At the end, they gave hygiene kits to the kids.

 

Gospel-sharing at Magalang, Pampanga

The team taught the gospel to 35 kids at Magalang, Pampanga. Just like what they did in the market, the team did a skit showing how Jesus is our best friend. They also taught the kids how to dance, played games and sang about God’s goodness. At the end, they gave candies to the kids.

 

Gospel-sharing at Ipo Dam, Norzagaray, Bulacan

The team taught the gospel to 100 kids at Ipo Dam, Norzagaray, Bulacan. They visited Sitio Anginan and Sitio Santol, the 2 sites of our feeding area. They did a skit showing how Jesus is our best friend. They also taught the kids how to dance and sing about God’s goodness. This time they taught them proper hygiene and gave the kids hygiene kits. The team also planted trees in the community.

Sunday Worship at Mexico, Pampanga

The team visited the church of our partner, Kingdom Righteousness Ministries in Mexico, Pampanga. Pastor Ai Hua preached about our responsibility as followers of Christ in sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth. The rest of the team members also took the time to share their testimonies of how Christ saved them.

After the worship service, the team taught the kids about the Gospel and played with them. They also conducted a Love, Sex, and Relationship Seminar for the young people. Many were blessed with the time and knowledge that the mission team shared with the church members.
