“Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” Luke 8:39
I am so blessed to have an opportunity to introduce myself and give thanks to you. I’m Mico Veranga, 20 years old currently taking a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. My first choice is to take an exam at Philippine Military Academy but suddenly during that time COVID cases are enormous, so I have to choose my second option that’s why I took this course because it is the only engineering course available when I enrolled in Quezon City University.
Now, I’m currently a 2nd-year student and one of the greatest challenges that I have encountered year 2021 - 2022 to my studies was my mental health, it is composed of many problems such as overloaded academic work, financial problems regarding my studies, and facing everyday struggles in online classes. But despite all those trials and stressful things, I thank those people who surround me with prayers and support, every time I’m in a field of sadness God uses them to bless me with things that comfort me. I know that God gives me strength, courage, and wisdom to overcome those problems. First, one of my main goals is to achieve higher grades to attract better job offers soon, because some employers look more favorably at students who achieve the highest grades, determining that they might offer greater value and knowledge to the company. The second is to find an internship for my specific career, it is an opportunity for me to learn about the industry by working for a company. Third and last goal for my incoming school year. Third and last is to gain certificates and additional credentials for my future purposes.
This time my prayer request is my spiritual growth, provision for my daily needs, even in my study that the Lord will give me wisdom, motivation, and safety for preparing my physical lab class and Internship. In my family the Lord will give us a good health, continuous healing and fast recovery for both of my parents who are experiencing illness. Lastly God’s leading in my life.
