Chloe’s Story: Patience in this Pandemic

My name is Chloe, 14 years old. I'm currently in my 9th grade at Batasan Hills National High School. I am the middle child in our family. I have two older sisters and two younger sisters. My parents are Eulalio and Anita. My father is a security guard while my mother does housekeeping.
During the pandemic, I can say I'm well. Staying at home is not a bad idea for an introvert like me. Thank God because His grace guides and protects my family. We are okay and safe. Because of the pandemic, the government is limiting the number of people who should go out. I find this difficult at first because at that moment, I know I can never go out unless the rules will change since I am still a minor. I think of it as a challenge because I can't go to school and attend our fellowship and Sunday service anymore. After all, it is prohibited to attend mass gatherings especially if you are minor but thank you, God, nothing is impossible for Him. He always gives me the knowledge and strength that I need to accomplish my academic task at school. He also provides a way for us to continue our Bible sharing and fellowship by doing it online thru a virtual meeting.

Indeed, God is good all the time because the quarantine is almost a year now. I sometimes feel bored staying at home, but then the Lord always reminds me to be patient. Going out to socialize also means taking a risk. You'll never know if you are infected or not, so just to be safe. I'll just be staying at home and patiently wait till everything is okay.
