My name is Maria Coleen Arevalo, and I'm incoming Grade 10.
I have attended Novaliches High School for four years. In our family, we are four siblings, and I am the youngest.

During this pandemic, I can say that at first, it was hard.
As the months passed, many things happened that made me see how God is good to my family and me. Thank God because my faith in Him grew and deepened. Because of the pandemic, I loved myself more. I was able to focus more on my studies, continue serving our Lord despite many challenges. Over time, I started to find new hobbies. I tried things I had never tried before. I spent a lot more time playing the guitar, painting, and anything else that has been the source of my knowledge and happiness.

In my studies, I had to adjust a lot because of the new normal online learning. As a student, it is hard to study now. We need to have a stable signal to learn and understand the lesson taught by the teacher.

But even though I went through many challenges in my studies, I continue to feel the presence of God that He has not forsaken me.
He taught me many things, he strengthened me, and he revealed many great things in life. I realized that everything happens with a purpose. We will surely experience the abounding blessing the Lord has prepared for us if we patiently abide and wait to His beautiful plan for our lives.
