I am Jaypee A. Manalo a college student and a grantee of the scholarship of Kapatid Ministry. I just recently won and got 1st place in the Bible Quiz bee organized by KMI. God honors preparation. This quote is my ground as I ponder upon God's word in preparation for the Bible Quiz bee. I reviewed for the Bible Quiz bee by meditating upon God's Word with the desire to bring back the glory to God. Also, I asked the leading of the Holy Spirit through prayer to enable me to understand and apply His word in my personal life. I believe that if you are guided by the Holy Spirit and your motive is for His Glory, He will surely grant the desires of your heart according to His will. The challenges that I encountered as I prepare for the Bible Quiz Bee was that I feel anxious about how I will be going to answer the questions. Likewise, I found it hard to schedule my time in reviewing since there's a lot of responsibilities that I need to accomplish. However, God has a solution to every challenges and this time He showed me that no matter how occupied you are it is a must to always choose and prioritize your devotion to God whether it is a form of Quiz bee or your personal time with Him. The Lord is indeed faithful to me during the Quiz Bee for he empowered me to recall all the things that I reviewed. He also revealed to me the true essence of that activity and that is to become rooted and to know God deeply in our lives. I would like to remind everyone that studying God's Word is affiliated with the right relationship with Him and a heart that is willing to accept God's truth, revelation and wisdom. God be praised!
