Our Prayer Focus: March 2022

March 21, 2022 | Written by Titus Jr Laxa

Dear partners and friends in the ministry, thank you for praying with us always!

We would like to share with you what God has done lately that we are grateful for, as you have been praying with us faithfully. May these thanksgiving points be an encouragement that God truly hears your prayers. We also would like to continue to share our concerns, as we need much prayer always. Thank you for taking the time to read and pray.

Thanksgiving

1. Local Partners' Virtual Visitation. Praise God for the privilege to pray for the personal/family challenges and struggles of our Local Partners in the harvest field. We had Online Visitation (Kumustahan) with each one of our Partners and we're scheduling more online visitations to our other Partners in the next weeks and months.

2. Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship (YES) Program. Thank God for the steadfastness of our 4 Young Entrepreneurs and their Mentors as they continue their chosen business.

3. Rebuilding in Calamity-affected areas. We continue to praise God for His provisions for the needs (fertilizers) of farmers in Odette stricken area of Negros Oriental. Also, as a response to the devastation brought by typhoon Odette, we are about to start a new feeding area among the needy children in a remote mountain area of Negros Oriental.

4. Senior Citizens' Ministry. God has been gracious in our Bless a Senior Citizen Program. As of now, there are 32 Senior Citizens being ministered to thru Bible Studies (3 different provinces in Luzon and 1 in Visayas).

5. Livelihood Program. Praise God for His blessings on the Livelihood Projects (goat, chicken and duck raising; online selling; mushroom farming) that we extended to some of the needy families of our Partner Churches' Pastors and members. Praise God as most of them have transferred the seed money for Livelihood to other needy families in their Churches.

6. Grateful for God's mercy regarding the pandemic. Thank you that slowly, countries (including Malaysia and Philippines) are relaxing their protocols as far as Covid19 is concerned.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray for all the above projects that God may continue to bless our partners and sustain them in these trying times.

2. Pray also for the safekeeping of our Sponsored Children as some of them have to go on "face to face" classes.

3. Pray for the planned webinar among the parents of our sponsored children that will cover discussion on identifying problems that they have and are still encountering and probable solutions during these trying times.

4. Pray for the war between Russia and Ukraine to cease and let peace reign among nations.

Thank you for always praying with us.
