Blessed greetings to all our Prayer Partners. Indeed God is gracious and He truly answers prayers.

Thanksgiving

KMI had been blessed this year because we have been visited by members of two of our partner Churches. First group are members of the Filipino Congregation under Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church last March.

The second group are members of First Baptist Church in Subang last 28 June to 3 July. It was a humbling experience to see each one of them not minding whether it is hot or rainy, whether the place is dirty, and roads are narrow and dangerous as we visited feeding outreaches, houses of sponsored children, houses of Senior Citizens whom our local churches are ministering to.

• They fed about 330 children at 4 Feeding areas and led them to singing, playing games, sharing God’s Word, and prayed for them.

• They had fellowship with some sponsored children in 4 areas visited, interacted with them, and prayed for them.

• The Gospel was shared by them with the Youth before the start of a Bible Basketball Fellowship in one of our partner Church.

• They also shared the Gospel with 80 Senior Citizens from 4 Areas. Grocery Items were given to all the Senior Citizens who came to listen to the Word of God. Those who were not able to go and walk to the Church were visited in their homes and were prayed for..

Prayer Concerns

Please pray for the following activities/events;

• The ongoing preparation for the celebration of Kapatid Ministry’s 20th Anniversary in October, where we will organize a gathering with local partners to celebrate the goodness of God through Kapatid Ministry.

• Pray for the upcoming Mission Trips of members of our 2 partner Churches, one from Sitiawan this coming August, and another from Canada (a Filipino Congregation) this coming October or November. Please pray for the planning and preparation for the mission trips. Please pray also for the safety of those who will be involved and for good weather. Most importantly, please uphold us all in prayer that the goal and purpose of the Mission Trips will be accomplished and will give glory to God!

• Please pray for God’s provision to children’s enrolment needs as classes for the upcoming school year (2023-2024), will start in August. Pray for their safety in going to schools and going back to their homes.

• Please pray for the Championship Game of Bible Basketball Tournament/Fellowship on 5 August as we share the Gospel to around 76 youth and their parents in Lubao, Pampanga.

• Also pray for God’s provision for our Feeding Program. Many had applied so they can avail of any financial assistance we can give, and can start their feeding program with the goal of planting a Church in their targeted area.
