Hi! I'm Melver, 21 years old from Bagumbong Caloocan a Grade 12 student in Electron College of Quezon City.
I am the third of nine siblings, eldest son so I'm one of the breadwinners in my family. I am a working student. My job is as a vendor in a bakery store. I sell a lot of bread in the morning and afternoon. To sell my bread quickly I borrowed a motorcycle to sell it in a different place. Sometimes I have a hard time in life because I am one of those who help my family, especially when this pandemic started, I was shocked because my father didn't have a job and my mother is a vegetable seller in the market. I think that the money we earned from me and my mother for 11 members of our family is not really enough. But I saw the kindness of the Lord in this pandemic because first of all, He did not let me get sick even though I met a lot of people in our area while I was selling bread and some people supported my studies. The days, months, and years have passed me but I'm still strong and have a healthy body. I felt how the LORD is really good to me because he did not let my family go hungry and sick. You know what, our God is good all the time.
I share the kindness of the Lord with other people by also giving bread when I see someone hungry while I am working on the road and helping a little to my other friends who are also in need. Giving my friends words of encouragement from the bible and helping them to trust that our God is alive.
