My name is Priya Vida Gordora, and I am 20 years old. I'm currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Social Studies at Metro Manila College. Choosing this course is a dream come true for me because I enjoy history and researching social issues in our country and around the world. I would be delighted to share my knowledge and experiences in life, particularly those related to the subject that can assist students in becoming globally competitive.

In the year 2021, the most terrifying tragedy befalls us. Our houses were destroyed by fire, and all of our belongings were destroyed. I didn't know what to feel at that time because all I knew was that all of my files and medals, which I had worked hard for, had vanished as a result of that incident. Even our cat died, which still upset me until now. We have no idea where to begin or how to rebuild our home, but by the grace of God, He has used many people to reach out us and provide financial support as well as our basic needs in life. Our local church, barangay, and local government all assisted us, which was extremely helpful. God is truly amazing, and He continues to amaze me every time I become anxious about our situation.

My academic goals for the upcoming school year are to achieve good grades so that my family can be proud of me. I'm still troubled by the fact that I didn't have the materials and resources I needed to complete my school activities and projects, but I know that someone heard my cries and supplications. I want to work hard in order to persuade those around me that I am capable of accomplishing great things in life.

My prayer requests are that we be granted financial assistance in order to complete our home. In addition, for my studies, I hoped that this year I would be able to purchase materials that would allow me to complete my assignments and projects with ease. Good health for my family, as well as guidance for all of us, especially my relatives. I'm also hoping for a stable mental and emotional state so that I can concentrate on my life goals.
